I have some velvety wool that I've never done anything with. bought it years ago. A couple of friends made scarves -- one knitted, one crocheted. They said it did a whole lot of shedding while they were working with it. Have fun making whatever you are making. :) Best wishes, Tammy
Hi Nicole, Not sure whether you noticed a recent "comment' on an earlier post. I'm gonna post it again 'cos I don't want you yo miss some beanie news.......1
Hi there! Well the Beanie Festival is not yet over but one of your beanies has made its way back to Melbourne! The grandparents flew in from Alice today with beanie surprises. They hadn't even noticed the "Place of Origin" label on the beanie they presented to our Hannah ("Tammy in Blue" - pictured in the post I believe). It comes from OUR VERY OWN SUBURB!!!!! Ha, ha LOL!!
Hannah loves it by the way! We'll keep an eye on the blog.
hey pete! thanks for the exciting beanie news :D i was really stoked when you left the comment! i've been trying to work out how to get back to you because your comment was a 'no-reply' email-y thing. i'm hoping to write a post about your comment if that's ok, when i eventually get time that is... thanks again!
Hi Nicole, I thought you'd be chuffed!! The post mention is fine of course. I've noticed that under Blog > Settings > Comments. If you have it set to "embedded" rather than the pop-up window you get the options to "Reply" to comments. It's still an awkward way to communicate!! Peter
thanks for taking the time to leave a comment! nothing makes me happier than receiving comments. make sure you leave an email address though, i love to reply to any questions you have or even just to say thanks xo
